OneStream Live Stream Player is an embeddable player that lets you generate an embed code and place your live stream directly on your own website. With it, you can deliver your broadcast to viewers on your site while keeping the stream experience simple, branded, and easy to access.
Follow the steps below to set up the Stream Player on the OneStream Live web app:
Steps:
Access the Stream Player
- From the left sidebar, click Stream Players.
- Click + New Player to create a new stream player.
Player Preview

A Stream Player window will open.

Enter a name for your player and click Save.

Preview how your player will appear to viewers.

Customize Your Stream Player
Use the options available in the right-side panel to customize your stream player's appearance, controls, chat, and access settings.
Player Options

Click Player Options from the right panel to customize your player:

Controls: Toggle features like Play, Volume, Progress Bar, and Fullscreen.

Background: Enable and upload a custom background image.

Player Style: Select a theme (Dark or Light).
Chat Settings

Enable Chat to interact with your audience in real time.

Choose chat position: Left, Right, or Bottom.
Access Settings
Control who can view your stream:
- Password Protection: Restrict access with a password.
- Restrict Access: Limit embedding to approved domains or users.
Embed Your Player

Click </> Copy Embed Code to add the player to your website.

Use Regenerate Code if you update settings or need a new embed link.
