How to Access Live Chat During Encoder Streaming?

OneStream Live’s Live Chat lets you manage messages, comments, and reactions from multiple social platforms in one place. It helps you monitor audience engagement in real time, respond to viewers, and track conversations across different streaming destinations without switching platforms.

To access live chat from the web app, follow these steps:

  • From your dashboard, click Encoder Streaming.

  • Click on Live Chat from the right sidebar of the dashboard.

  • Click on Connect Chat to enable chat integration with your supported social destinations.

  • Once you are live, you can see all your stream comments.

To access live chat from the web app, follow these steps:

  • In your mobile app, click Encoder Streaming.

  • Select the event associated with the stream key.

  • Click on Live Chat from the bottom of the mobile dashboard.

  • Connect the supported social destinations, then go live to see all comments here.
You can now view and manage live interactions from your ongoing broadcast directly from your mobile device.
Unified Chat currently supports Facebook Pages, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitch. You can receive messages from Facebook Profiles and Groups, but replies aren't supported.
