Streaming to Instagram with OneStream Live lets you broadcast pre-recorded videos or go live in real time using OneStream Studio or an external RTMP source.
Instagram requires that only public accounts with 1,000+ followers can go live.
To live stream on Instagram, follow these steps

Open the Instagram Desktop Dashboard.

From the left side, click the + icon.

- Click Create and select Live Video.

Enter your video title and choose your audience.

Public will broadcast to all your followers.

Practice will keep your stream private.

Close friends will broadcast to your close friends list only.

Click Next.

- Copy the Stream Key and Server URL.

Go to the OneStream Live Dashboard.

From the left sidebar, click Social Platforms.

- Click Add Platform.

- Select Instagram.

- Log in with your Instagram Account and click Allow.

- Click Connect.

You do not need to repeat these setup steps once your Instagram account is connected. Afterward, you only need to update your Instagram Stream Key each time you go live. This key will appear whenever you schedule a live broadcast on Instagram.
- When streaming to Instagram, go to Details and click Add Stream Key under your Instagram destination. Click Connect.

- Enter the Stream Key and click Save.

- Once your stream starts sending the signal, go to Instagram and manually click Go Live as soon as the video preview appears.

Instagram Live is not visible on your own profile; use another account to view it.
Instagram allows a maximum stream time of 4 hours per video.
