How to Live Stream Webex Meetings or Events to OneStream Live?

To live-stream Webex Meetings or Events to OneStream Live, follow these steps.

Prerequisites

Free Webex accounts do not support live streaming via RTMP. You need a Starter, Business, Enterprise, or Webinars license.

  • Webex desktop app must be installed.

  • You must have a Webex Starter, Business, or Enterprise account.

  • Live streaming must be enabled on your Webex account.

Sending Live Stream from Webex to OneStream Live

  • Open the OneStream Live Dashboard.

  • Select Encoder Streaming.

  • Copy both the Server URL and the Stream Key.

  • Start your Webex Meeting (either an instant or scheduled meeting).

  • At the bottom toolbar, click the Three Dots icon (...) for More Options, then select Start Live Streaming.

  • When prompted, enter a name for the account, then paste the Server URL and Stream Key you copied from OneStream.

  • Click Start Streaming.

  • Return to your OneStream Live Dashboard. Your Webex video stream will now appear in the preview, ready to be multicast to your connected social media platforms!
