If your microphone is not working in OneStream Live Studio, your browser may not have permission to access it. Follow the steps below to enable microphone access in your browser and try the additional troubleshooting steps if the issue persists.
Allow Microphone Permissions in Your Browser
Chrome

Enter
chrome://settings/content/microphonein the browser's address bar. -
Find app.onestream.live under Not allowed to use your microphone.

Set the microphone permission to Allow.
Firefox

Enter
about:preferences#privacyin the browser's address bar. -
Scroll to Permissions and click Settings next to Microphone.

Find app.onestream.live and set it to Allow.

Click Save Changes.
Microsoft Edge

Enter
edge://settings/content/microphonein the browser's address bar. -
Find app.onestream.live under the blocked or not allowed websites.

Set the microphone permission to Allow.
Safari

Open Safari Settings.

Go to Websites > Microphone.

Additional Troubleshooting Steps

Clear your browser cache and restart the browser.

Restart your computer and try again.

Disable browser extensions, such as Adblock, and open OneStream Live Studio in Incognito or Private mode.

Try using a different browser.

For Mac users: Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone and make sure microphone access is enabled for your browser.

Test your microphone using an online microphone testing tool or another platform, such as Google Meet.

If the microphone still does not work, try disconnecting and reconnecting the microphone or selecting a different microphone from your browser or Studio settings.
