The Chat feature in OneStream Live Studio allows you to interact with your audience in real time during a live stream. It helps you monitor and respond to messages from connected platforms, making your stream more engaging and interactive.
To connect chat with OneStream Live Studio, follow these steps:

- First, create a Studio session.
- From the right-side panel, click Live Chat or Private Chat.
Live Chat:
- Click Connect Chat to view live chat messages from the social media platforms where you are streaming.

Manage audience interactions by:

Putting users in Timeout.

Adding users to the Block List.

Pinning important comments.

Adding selected comments to the Banner Queue.

Private Chat:
- From the right-side panel, click Private Chat.
- Press Enter to deliver the message directly to the participant.
- Private Chat is available for participants within the OneStream Live Studio, allowing you to communicate privately during the session.
OneStream Studio Chat is currently available for Facebook Pages, Instagram Profiles, YouTube, Twitch, and Kick. However, replying to chat messages is not supported for Facebook Profiles at this time.
