The Backup Stream Key allows you to configure a secondary stream connection as a fallback for your primary stream. If the primary stream connection fails for any reason, the backup stream automatically takes over, helping keep your broadcast running with minimal interruption for your viewers.
For the smoothest transition between the primary and backup streams, make sure both streams are synchronized or as closely aligned as possible. This helps prevent noticeable jumps or interruptions when switching between streams.
Important: If the backup stream also fails, the system will not automatically switch back to the primary stream.
